Roller Derby!

Rylee has discovered spounge rollers! For about 4 nights in a row I have had to roll her hair & use a different color every night which has resulted in different hair everyday. She is now signed up for dance & will start Sept 6. We had to go & buy tap & ballet shoes last weekend!

Caly's First Few Weeks Home

Rylee's rowdiness does not phase Caly. I guess she is used to it having heard it for the past 9 months. Rylee loves her new sister & Caly loves Rylee. You should see them together when I lay Caly on the bed. Rylee tends to get upset when Caly pulls her hair!

If you look closely you will notice that Caly just might be a red head! Her hair is turning & her eyebrows are coming in reddish!!! We go to the Dr on the 29th for a check up.

Caly Reese Has Arrived

Caly Reese was born July 17. She weighed 7 lbs 12 3/4 oz & was 20 inches long. Rylee was a little surprised by her size as she was hoping for an instant playmate!

New Farm Toy

Pa got a new farm "toy". Rylee can now travel in style while feeding the cows and even get to help dad bale hay. It is complete with a buddy seat with seatbelt so a booster seat will fit nicely & she will be able to jam to her cd's in style!

Easter

We had a rather bizarre Easter. It SNOWED!!! It didn't stick but we had a mini blizzard. Rylee had fun hunting eggs too. We had to do it at 2 pm so it would be warm enough to go outside.

First Major ER Trip

Rylee had her first major ER trip in February. After xrays(no broken bones thankfully), 2 bags of Cheetos & a promise to go to Wal Mart for a Barbie we managed to survive the weekend. Thank goodness after the swelling went down & a trip to the orthapedic dr it turned out to be Nursemaid's Elbow. It never stopped her from climbing or getting into stuff! Needless to say she was spoiled for a few weeks which then took a few weeks to wear off!!!

Spring Fun

Aunt Carolyn sent Rylee a new western shirt for Valentine's. She broke it in good while riding Liberty the spring horse. She was also a big help to dad in shortening the bar. We didn't have to clean up too many messes! We also went to the zoo. She had a blast & love riding the train.

Kid Fish

We took Rylee to Kid Fish. She got her first Barbie fishing pole. It was so cold no one caught anything but we had fun. She kept eating the free Gushers in fact she tried sharing them with the fish & geese! She was really tired in fact she fell asleep in Clay's recliner which is unusual!

Christmas & New Year's

Rylee was fascinated with Santa this year. In fact she still talks about him. She had a blast New Year's Eve with her "princess" sparklers!

Fall Fun

Rylee had lots of fun this fall playing in the leaves. Meme & Papa came to see us too. She has become quite the photo subject shooting CHEESE everytime!
